This is unlike most of his later works whose "fairy tale" qualities appealed to so many. This was done earlier in his career, while he still lived with his family in Placerville, Calif. The attached COA has a genuine description from Kinkade. 
 
This is one of only 390 artist's proofs on canvas measuring 24 by 36. It is housed in what was the most expensive frame the galleries sold in solid Oak. It is in excellent original condition from the original owners.
