Robert Cole Caples (1908-1979) is one of Nevada's most important artists.
This work has a visible area of about 14 by 17 inches and a slight area of damage in the lower left corner. It bears his iconic signature in the lower right. His works are rare and this one nicely captures how he saw and translated the Nevada landscape.
